Tomi Ungerer. Ce n'est pas que pour les enfants

The author of The Three Robbers requires no introduction today. If children no longer sleep so soundly, it’s because a generation of parents have read them Tomi Ungerer’s frightening and equally incorrect stories.
That was the 1960s. Since then, this illustrator from Alsace has continued to stimulate children by drawing animals for them in his antagonizing stories. For yesterday’s and today’s children, the exhibition at the
Villa Bernasconi brings together different works in which his vision of life as an antiwar and anti-inequality manifesto becomes apparent.
